Jobfactory made its first attempt to recognize the war heroes, and offered two scholarships for the children of the two soldiers killed in action during the thirty year war existed in Sri Lanka.
This donation was arranged on the request of the Commanding Officer of the Gajaba Regiment in 2013 through the 3rd Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment. 3rd Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment had been supporting the underprivileged children of their soldiers who got killed or wounded in action during the war.
